It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Andrew L. Narus, P.E., CCM to Partner, Construction Management

After seven years with Cameron Engineering, and more than 30 years of experience behind him in all phases of engineering and management, Andy Narus has been promoted to Partner and will head up our Construction Management and Major Municipal Client work. As a Professional Engineer and a Certified Construction Manager, he has excelled in his role and has been a key player in several high-profile projects with the Firm. Andy brings a wealth of experience to Cameron Engineering and is a proven, effective manager of technical and administrative personnel, being responsible for coordination efforts with other design professionals, such as municipal engineers, architects, owners, developers, etc. Mr. Narus’ background covers all phases of engineering and management. His duties normally include engineering presentations, investigations, planning, conceptual project systems design and incorporation of green building strategies. His main areas of expertise include civil and environmental engineering, design services during construction, site planning and development, yield studies, and program management.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Richard Zapolski, P.E. to Senior Associate, Civil Engineering

Prior to joining Cameron Engineering, Mr. Zapolski served as Islip Town Commissioner with the Department of Planning and Development, where he was responsible for five divisions of the Department, including Building, Engineering, Planning, Economic Development and Zoning Board of Appeals. In the three years since joining the Firm, Rich has proven his dedication and commitment and is well deserving of his promotion to Senior Associate. He is a professional Civil/Site Engineer with 31 years of experience in Urban Planning and Land Development Projects. He has planning and civil engineering design experience in several sectors including municipal roadway and capital improvement projects, institutional and educational facilities, transportation infrastructure, residential roadway and drainage design, commercial, residential, and industrial land development projects throughout the northeast, primarily in Suffolk and Nassau Counties, Long Island, NY as well as training in International Building Codes, State Building Codes, FEMA, and Town and County Emergency Operations.

We’re happy to announce the election of David Tepper, AICP to lead the Long Island Section of the APA NYM Chapter!

David Tepper, AICP, who was elected recently as Director for the Long Island Section takes over the position from Sean Sallie, Deputy Commissioner for Planning at Nassau County DPW. David received his AICP certification in 2017 and will now serve members who are private and municipal planners, public officials, and concerned citizens that work or reside in Nassau or Suffolk Counties. The Section offers educational and social events including workshops, panels, guest speakers, and joint meetings with other professional groups.
