Capital One Bank Due Diligence and Code Compliance Review

Cameron Engineering performed M/E/P/F existing conditions field surveys and provided Engineering Due Diligence Reports including recommendations based on our findings for the various locations and facilities.

The existing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for the buildings were evaluated to determine the existing apparent code violations, general equipment condition, access to utility services, capability to accommodate outdoor air needs, and equipment expansion capability.

Cameron Engineering provided engineering services associated with lease negotiations advising the client and the client’s attorney as to the complications with M/E/P/F system and equipment requirements and/or deficiencies with the M/E/P/F systems.

Chase Bank

Flushing, NY

Performed MEPF and structural design for a single-floor fit out of two adjacent buildings located in Flushing, NY. The approximate combined square footage of the project was 3,300 square feet.

The scope of work is included the following MEPF Engineering Design Services:

  • Designed HVAC ductwork distribution systems. Reutilize existing duct runs where feasible and design additional HVAC ductwork as required to serve the tenant layouts.
  • Designed plumbing systems as required based upon the existing systems available.
  • Designed a fire protection sprinkler system with coverage to comply with NYC Fire Department
requirements.
  • Designed electrical distribution system via branch circuit distribution panels. Provide power to lighting fixtures as specified and located by the Architect.
  • Lighting loads would be served via lighting distribution panel boards with appropriate lighting controls. Design a lighting control system integrated with lighting control panels.
  • Designed power to the information technology (IT), audio video (AV), telecommunications and security systems based upon detailed layouts as provided by the vendors.

The Structural scope of work included providing design assistance, as required, to enclose existing window and door openings at the front and rear of the building.

Roslyn Savings Bank

Mineola, NY

New 3,800 square foot (footprint), one-story building branch bank with full cellar with the associated civil/site, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection (M/E/P/FP) improvements. The subject site is located on the southeast corner of Jericho Turnpike and Andrews Road in Mineola. The site measure approximately 235’ by 100’ (0.54 Acres) and is currently undeveloped.

Cameron Engineering provided new electric and natural gas services and structural design for new vault. A UPS (uninterrupted power supply) and supplemental air conditioning was provided for the server room.
