Stephen Hadjiyane, P.E., BCEE

Associate Partner, Water/Wastewater Engineering Division

Mr. Hadjiyane is a Professional Engineer in New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts and a Board-Certified Environmental Engineer (BCEE) with 30 years of experience. He works with the Water/Wastewater group in designing and managing projects while providing QA/QC oversight for the delivery of high quality work products. Mr. Hadjiyane assists the Firm in growing the department by seeking opportunities both within our existing client base as well as new clients.

Throughout his 30-year career, Mr. Hadjiyane has played a key role managing and directing strategic water and wastewater infrastructure projects to protect and enhance New York’s water resources. He has been a trusted advisor to clients for upgrades to the Nassau County Bay Park and Cedar Creek Wastewater Treatment Plants; sanitary sewer repairs at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York; numerous projects for Nassau and Suffolk Counties, and for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection. His design experience includes water supply and treatment, wastewater collection and pumping systems, wastewater treatment, including activated sludge, extended aeration, and nitrogen removal treatment systems, as well as sludge thickening and solids dewatering.

Mr. Hadjiyane serves as the past chair and Member of the Board of Directors of the New York Water Environment Association’s Long Island Chapter. He is also a member of the Water Environment Federation, the Long Island Water Conference, the New York Professional Engineering Society, and the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC NY).
