Cameron Engineering offers Structural Engineering design services to Architects, Owners and Developers for private and municipal projects. Our Structural Design Division complements our multi-discipline approach for land development, buildings and the environmental services sectors.

Our services range from new building design (low, mid and high rise), rehabilitation of and retrofitting for adaptive reuse of existing buildings and structures design of long span and specialty structures, design of temporary and permanent earth retaining structures, due diligence studies for the real estate financial community, peer reviews, value engineering, forensic investigations, and expert witness testimony.
At the start of every project our structural engineering group discusses potential design options to ensure an optimized structural system is developed based on constructability and cost.
We develop cost-effective structural solutions for complex projects through the use of 3D computer modeling with the latest structural engineering software programs such as STAADPro, RAM Elements, RAM Structural Systems, ETABS/ SAFE, TEDDS and other proprietary software packages. Our structural engineering staff works with Architects and other design professionals to utilize AutoCAD’s 3D design capability and total Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Cameron Engineering works closely with Architects and Owners at the start of a project to define the project goals, design and construction schedule, and budget. When Cameron Engineering provides complete building engineering services to clients, the structural group coordinates in-house with Civil/Site and Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Security and Fire Protection staff to provide a comprehensive set of Construction Documents. This reduces coordination time for Architects and Owners, saves time and money during the design and construction process, and results in projects that are well coordinated and thus, easier to build.
