Rubie Corporate Plaza and Jewel Restaurant

Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection (M/E/P/F) design services for Rubie Corporate Plaza included (core and shell) base building systems for the new approximate 104,000 square foot, four (4) story building including a 20,000 square foot basement located on the lower level. The ground floor contains a 10,000 square foot restaurant, a 3,500 square foot bank, and public space. The lobby includes a two (2) story common area space. New natural gas and electric service was provided. HVAC system included packaged roof top units. A natural gas emergency generator was provided for life safety loads.

“Jewel”, located on the ground floor of Rubie Corporate Plaza is touted as the jewel of the RT110 corridor. A massive 10,000 square foot print with open kitchen was designed. The restaurant contains multiple private dining rooms, exclusive 40 foot wine case and whimsical bar seating design. The layout includes complete prep kitchen, walk-in refrigerated storage on lower level.

Base building services include a central heating plant and distribution to VAV boxes. Base building fire alarm and fire sprinklers were provided in anticipation of tenant occupancy.

Rothmann’s Steak House & Grill

Cameron Engineering provided a conversion of the first floor and basement level of a previous retail building into a restaurant. This included a 10,000 sq. ft., first floor with a full cooking kitchen, bar area and seating. In addition, 10,000 sq. ft. lower level with prep kitchen, dry storage, refrigerated wine cellar, walk-in-boxes, office space, toilets and locker room were also provided.

Tutto Pazzo Restaurant

Cameron Engineering provided a complete MEP gut renovation of an upscale family style restaurant with Tuscan style decor, in North Huntington, New York. This included a wine bar with a “living room” type surround seating, private dining room, indoor/outdoor tent for large occupancy and corporate events, an upgraded electrical service was brought in to support a large capacity cooking/catering kitchen.

Christina’s Epicure Supermarket

East Norwich, NY

The project consists of renovating a two (2) story gourmet supermarket that was construction in the 1950’s (formerly Gristedes/Blueberries Food Market). The finished first floor is approximately 8,000 sq. ft. and the finished lower level is approximately 6,000 sq. ft. The first floor contains a retail area, bakery, deli counter, produce, meats, refrigerated display cases, rotisserie, prepared food, coffee, ADA compliant toilet room and a small café. The lower level included the main cooking kitchen, kitchen hoods, refrigerated boxes, walk-in refrigerators and freezers, employee toilet rooms, break room, dry storage and office. The entire supermarket was completely renovated. New HVAC, electrical, fire alarm and plumbing systems were designed.
