| Cameron
Engineering has a professional staff of approximately
70 employees including 24 Professional Engineers licensed
in New York State, one (1) Registered Landscape Architect
and four (4) Members of the American Institute of
Certified Planners. Several of our Professional Engineers
are licensed in multiple states. Our staff also includes
many employees with graduate degrees in the fields
of engineering and/or science. The staff works in
a multi-disciplined environment and is familiar with
overall project requirements, in addition to their
specific area of expertise. This enables superior
project coordination of disciplines, scheduling, planning
for constructability, and implementation of a well-planned
and conceived project.
Cameron Engineering has 23 professionals
in various disciplines who have achieved the United
States Green Building Council LEED (Leadership in Energy
and Environmental Design) accreditation. Accordingly,
we strive to implement high-performance buildings incorporating
energy efficiency design, and sustainable sites through
effective and efficient design and construction concepts.
Our designs balance environmental responsibility, achieve
resource efficiency, and provide occupant comfort and
well-being. Although a limited number of projects achieve
true LEED status, implementation of the LEED certification
process for specific scope of work items usually achieves
a truly successful project; for so many years, this
concept has been implemented by Cameron Engineering
on each design aspect. Accordingly, we typically would
examine the specific problem or deficiency, evaluate
cost effective proven remediation techniques and implement
solutions considering environmental concerns, longevity
and cost effective constructability. Cost versus effect
is always evaluated to assure that the most appropriate
solution is implemented.
The Firm possesses a diversified range
of experience in various facets of municipal, institutional,
commercial, residential, industrial and environmental
engineering.
